This old fisherman's house is suspended in the air by girders. It's rusted all to hell, but it is fascinating to me. It's vintage. It's also about 60 feet in the air. I take pics of it every year. I plan to find out exactly how old it is the next time that I go to photograph it. It's here in Chicago, off of canal street.

I think anything has photo quality if you look at it right. As you have also noticed, I am a HUGE fan of black and white. Also make note of the man off in the distance. I used my Nikon D60 here and took the man out of focus. I like this photo also. I was simply trekking on the north side of Chicago taking shots

This shot was taken with a 7MP Casio camera from Navy Pier. I haven't cropped it yet, but when I do it will be a great shot of the city. I will change it to black and white later. I took this picture in 2008.

This would have been a great pic had this man moved out of the shot. He felt hsi being there would "authenticate" my pic (basically, he didn't want to move and I was in a generous mood that day and didn't MOVE HIM MYSELF). Otherwise this is a good shot of the Chicago Bean

This is an eastern skyline view from millenium park. Most people look to the west with the buildings and the skyscrapers and such. The East View as you can see is nice as well.

I took this pic with Fuji S1500. This is the B'hai Temple in Evanston. What's interesting is March 19, I have a photo shoot here on the grounds with a number of photographers that I respect.

This house is in the wood in Norridge Illinois. I was out there one day and saw a coyote. I didn't have the heart to take the pic for fear of the coyote tearing me a new one. I ended up taking a pic of this house, which alo has a classic look to me. I still look for the coyote to get the pic (that MF is all muscle also) but now I go with camera in one hand and a 9mm in the other (just in case).

Looks abandoned, right? It's not. There is a family and a huge effen DOG in there. So the next time that you think you have it bad, think again. And, the family had a number of items hooked up eletrically through the GRASS all the way up to the light pole by the street. I'm not knocking them. I'm just saying, imagine having to live that way. Be Grateful.

This was a few days before Christmas 2009. This is what people think when they see or think about Chicago

People don't think about the weather we endure from the bitter cold, to the blazing heat, the construction or the ever changing weather in general. I took this pic I think also a few days before Christmas and the camera couldn't even catch all the snow. I used a Fuji 2100 for this shot

This couple was brought to Chicago during the Art and Music Festival. In January 2010 the city took it down because Phoenix wanted it. I was like Phoenix? Are you kidding me? Anyway, they will be missed. as you can see, they didn't look very pleased about the snow we get either, lol.

I was out taking nature shots early one morning and this was my best shot of that day. I love the way I got the sun shining through the trees. This too was taken with a Fuji 2100
